1. About us and these terms

This website is operated by STRYDE SMOOTH. By visiting strydesmooth.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before you buy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

2. Using this site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it to transmit anything harmful, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to scrape or copy our content for commercial use, or to interfere with the site's operation. We may refuse service or close accounts at our discretion where these terms are breached.

You must be at least 16 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Products, pricing and availability

We try to display our products, colours and descriptions as accurately as possible, but we can't guarantee that your screen shows colours exactly as they appear in person.

All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, or limit order quantities at any time without notice. Product availability is not guaranteed and all orders are subject to stock.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, whether or not the order has been confirmed.

4. Orders

When you place an order you're making an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send you a confirmation of dispatch — that's the point a contract is formed between us. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including stock issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or an inability to deliver to your address. If we cancel, we'll refund you in full.

Please check your order details and delivery address carefully before confirming. We can't guarantee changes once an order has been placed.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, including Shopify Payments. We don't store your full card details. You confirm that you're authorised to use the payment method you provide.

6. Delivery

We'll aim to dispatch and deliver within the timeframes shown at checkout, but these are estimates, not guarantees. Once your parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery timescales are outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

If your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable period, contact us at strydesmooth.com@strydesmooth.com  and we'll help track it.

7. Returns and refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these terms. Please read it before ordering, particularly the hygiene exclusion that applies to socks.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the STRYDE SMOOTH name, logo, product designs, photography, text and layout — belongs to us or is licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our written permission. You may share our content on social media in the normal way, with credit.

9. Product use and disclaimer

Our products are designed to support comfort during running and exercise. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition. Descriptions of features such as blister reduction or cushioning describe the design intent of the product; individual results vary depending on fit, footwear, distance and conditions.

Always listen to your body. If you experience pain, persistent blistering, or any injury, stop and seek advice from a qualified medical professional.

10. Reviews and submissions

If you send us reviews, photos, comments or ideas, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish them in connection with our business, including in marketing. You confirm the content is your own, is accurate, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may edit or remove submissions at our discretion. We're not obliged to keep submissions confidential or to pay for them.

11. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites or services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products or practices. Any dealings with them are between you and them.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We don't guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend or withdraw it at any time.

13. Your statutory rights

If you're a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, including the right to receive goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order. Please check back before ordering.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
